There are six regions (The North, Iron Islands, The Reach, etc) that are united under an elected Monarch but govern relatively autonomously, to the extent they frequently war against each other. The continent uses golden coins and gold as it’s standard currency.

In the world of Monsters Inc., the company uses screams to generate energy. While they do not need to use children's screams for power generation, it is the most efficient and productive power demographic by far. For the purposes of this debate, neither humans nor Monsters Inc know of laughing

The rule of absolute Candor is a spiritual discipline followed by a small sect of Romulans in the Star Trek universe. It dictates that an individual must speak their unfiltered thoughts at all times, beyond just telling the truth. Anyone breaks this rule is shunned in the sect.
